What is the Farabi Exchange Program?
The "Farabi Exchange Program," officially known as the Inter-University Student and Faculty Exchange Program, facilitates the exchange of students and faculty members among universities and high-technology institutes that offer associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.
The Farabi Exchange Program aims for students or faculty members to continue their educational and teaching activities at a higher education institution other than their own for one or two semesters.
The implementation principles of the Farabi Exchange Program are detailed in the Regulation and Procedures.

Farabi (871-950)
Born in 871 in the city of Farab in Turkestan, Farabi traveled to major centers of learning of his time, including Bukhara, Baghdad, Damascus, Cairo, Harran, and Aleppo. He wrote works in philosophy, mathematics, logic, political science, and music. In the Islamic world, he is renowned as the Second Teacher (Muallim-i Sani), a philosopher held in esteem comparable to Aristotle, who is known as the First Teacher (Muallim-i Evvel). He is known as "Alpharabius" in the Western world and passed away in Damascus in 950.
